DroneWISE presented at the 2nd edition of the conference on unmanned aerial vehicles – DroneDays, Biograd na Moru, 4 – 5 October, 2021

The second edition of the two-day conference on unmanned aerial vehicles DroneDays was held in Biograd na Moru on the 4th and 5th of October, organized by the Laboratory for Robotics and Intelligent Control Systems (LARICS) of the Zagreb Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER) within the EU AeRo Twinning project from the HORIZON2020 programme.

During two days, 16 lectures by domestic and foreign experts were held for 90 accredited participants, from which a lot could be heard about the research projects and many areas of application and industry.

A fair of companies was organized in a separate exhibition zone, at which leading domestic companies, institutions and projects in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles and counter-drone systems were presented. Thus, the solution was presented by 7 leading companies in the region, and they were visited by about 200 visitors. Within the exhibition zone, there was also a smaller flying zone where 6 demo flights were held.

Also, Dominik Gustin and Jelena Levak (RiniGARD) presented the work on the DroneWISE EU project to the visitors of the exhibition space, and the final conference to be held in May 2022 in Šibenik was announced.
